Have You Ever Seen A flying Water Bottle?

I think that the bottle will fly into the sky for a few seconds the shoot back down to the ground. I think this will happen because of the pressure from the air. I think it will go higher than the classrooms.

Have ever heard of a flying water bottle? Yes? No? Well i'm going to explain it to you in this short text.
Firstly you have to gather all the equipment which is The Aqua Pod, (A neon orange plastic launch pad) Plastic water bottle and a foot pump. You set up with the water bottle filled 1/3 of the way.

Secondly you hold the Aqua Pod upside down and attach the water bottle to the white and plastic valve. Then you attach the foot pump to the second Small and metal valve. After that you place the the Aqua Pod down on the ground with the bottle and foot pump attached then you start to pump the air into the bottle You pump around 8-12 Pumps of air into the bottle then you pull the string and see it fly.

What an experiment! I am now curious to try this out. Thank you for the detailed instructions, it sounds like it will be fun and easy to do.
Next time, I would suggest that you double check for missing letters and having extra words.

  2. Hi Zoe. I am Pranidhi from New Windsor School. I liked your bottle rocket post. Last year in my class, we did the same thing but didn't do it with a bottle. We did it with straws. I had a lot of fun. Thank you. Pranidhi R22.
